At ten o’clock, the plane arrived. A girl came out of the plane. She was tall and beautiful with big blue eyes. Her hair was brown but short!
Mike felt very strange then, because he found the girl in front of him was not the same as the girl in the photo. But Cindy went ahead with a photo of him and greeted him, then Mike realized that Cindy had her hair cut!

It was really exciting. On the third day, they went surfing in the sea and played beach volleyball. Maggie met a girl called Susan and they became friends. Susan is really good at surfing! On July 23rd, they flew back to their hometown Cambridge. She wants to visit Qingdao again.

Dragon Boat Festival is coming the day after tomorrow. Would you like to take part in the dragon boat races on that day? Come and join in dragon boat races on the West River. We will have our first race of the festival at 9 am on Thursday. And there will be four boats in one race. We will have three races. We will start outside Blue Park.
You don’t need to have any boat race experience, but you must be over 18 years old. If your boat is the fastest, all the people on the boat will get some gifts. They are some zongzi.

In Guangzhou, the Pearl River Crossing has been popular for many years. It is a healthy activity. Many people like the activity and want to take part in it. The crossing started in the 1930s and it has been held at least 30 times so far. Last year, 34 teams made up of 1,700 competitors took part in it. Luckily, I was a member of the high school team. In this competition, our team swam hard together and got a good place. The other teams were trying their best, too. Everyone was enjoying swimming and competing.
Are you interested in swimming? If you are, welcome to visit Guangzhou and take part in the Pearl River Crossing this year.
