應用文寫作(One possible version)
Dear Jack,
I’m glad that you are interested in drawing and I’m writing to invite you to join the Chinese painting club of our school.
There are many activities in the club, like holding an art exhibition every two weeks. In my opinion, joining the club can not only help us have a deeper understanding of traditional Chinese paintings but it can also enrich our after-class life. If you are interested in it, you can send your application to paintingclub@163.com before 5:00 pm next Friday.
Looking forward to your reply.
Yours,
Li Hua
讀后續(xù)寫 (One possible version)
Paragraph 1:
Then the young man made his way to the store. He came in and asked if he could stay for a few minutes. And naturally I agreed. He told me “angels” had come out of nowhere and given him Thanksgiving dinner, then just driven off without telling him who they were or how they had known about him. He did not have any money to buy food, so the hot meal was especially meaningful. I just smiled, offered coffee and juice to go with the meal, and watched him enjoy them.
Paragraph 2:
As for my parents, they really impressed me that day. Although they were busy with their preparations for Thanksgiving, they stopped their work, packaged dinner and brought it to the man. Sometimes, we’d be willing to help others, but we just can’t leave our work. But my parents were really glad to help the young man despite the terrible weather and their work. What’s more, the young man’s heartfelt thanks made each of us feel good about our small parts in helping him.
