Dear Lisa,
Now that you mentioned in your last email that you’re interested in my hobby, I’d like to share it with you.
Since I read Around the World in Eighty Days at the age of ten, I have been in love with reading. I find books so fascinating that I can hardly put them down. I usually spend my weekends reading, sometimes alone in my study and sometimes in the library with my friends. At times, I imagine myself becoming a hero in those stories doing what I cannot do in real life. Reading has broadened my horizons and has gotten me interested in writing stories. I am determined to become a writer when I grow up.
